Our story

Stax of Homes began as a curated library of Australian home designs for builders, owner-builders, and land buyers on the Sunshine Coast. The goal was simple: give people access to great home designs without the architectural fees.

That has grown into a full design studio. We now offer custom home conceptual design, interior concept presentations, and renovation design services — with the same focus on clarity, speed, and value.

International experience, local prices

With luxury villa interior experience in Bali — exposed steel structures, teak kitchens, marble and polished concrete floors — we bring an internationally refined design sensibility to every Sunshine Coast and Queensland project. The same eye for detail, at Coast prices.

What's included in a free account?

Full access to the Stax home design library — browse all designs, view floor plans, and order IFC files. Members can also enquire about custom home design and interior design services directly from the dashboard.

What are interior concept presentations?

A realistic 3D perspective view of your renovation space — bathrooms, kitchens, or whole homes. You'll receive material selections, a colour palette, and a branded PDF ready to share with your trades and cabinetmakers.

How long does an interior concept take?

Tier 1 concept presentations (bathroom or kitchen) are delivered in 3–5 business days. Full Interior Design Packages and Home Conceptual Design timelines are confirmed during your consultation.

What is an IFC file?

IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) is an industry-standard format for 3D models, compatible with Revit, ArchiCAD, and most drafting programs. Your drafting team can import it directly and begin producing working drawings straight away.

Can I modify a library design?

Yes — amendments to existing library designs are quoted at $500 (single storey) or $750 (double storey) on top of the library plan fee. Enquire via the dashboard and we'll review what you have in mind before any work begins.

Do you service areas outside the Sunshine Coast?

Yes. While we're based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, we design homes and provide interior services across all Australian states. Interior design consultations are available via video call anywhere in Australia.
